How many vehicles are you responsible for?
We have 33 in total, a mixture of BMW, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Peugeot, Renault, Vauxhall and Volkswagen, all leased over three years.

What do you enjoy about your job the most?
Dealing with people like my account manager at leasing company JCT 600. Although our fleet size is only 33, they are always very helpful, which makes my job easier.

What do you enjoy least?
Requests from drivers which I consider silly or minor, such as ‘my tax disc needs replacing in a month’s time’, or ‘I have broken my mirror’ – issues which are all covered in the driver handbook.

If you were transport minister for the day, what would you do?
Review the speed limits and increase the limit on motorways. Speed limits on certain sections of roads appear to change from 40mph to 30mph with little notice and sometimes it’s not obvious to drivers, which can cause problems.

What would make your life easier at work?
Drivers taking the time to actually read the handbook.
