Honda UK record

HONDA sold a record 100,000 cars in the last financial year in the UK, hitting a target set 13 years ago.

Between April 2006 and this March it sold 100,300 models, giving it a record 4.66% market share.

The Civic 5dr took most sales (34,916), followed by the Jazz on 30,795.

Fleet sales accounted for around a third of the total. Honda set the target in 1994 when it sold under 30,000 cars a year in the UK.
