Golf production hits 25m mark

THE Wolfsburg manufacturing plant in Germany has produced Volkswagen’s 25 millionth Golf.

The first example of the car was assembled in 1974 and reached a million sales three years after that. More than 33 years and four generations later, a Golf 1.4 TSI is the 25 millionth car to have rolled off the production line.
