Mercedes-Benz has only just launched its all-new C-Class model but has already taken the wraps off the performance version – the C63 AMG.

Powered by a 6.3-litre V8 engine producing 457bhp, the C63 accelerates from 0-62mph in just 4.5 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 155mph.

It arrives in the UK in the middle of 2008.
