Lex Autolease fleet manager Nigel Trotman has left the company to join leasing provider Alphabet.

Trotman, a former Fleet News Awards winner while at Whitbread, joins Alphabet as a strategic consultant.
It’s a role he has become familiar with at Lex Autolease where his responsibilities extended beyond the company’s in-house fleet into fleet management with several large clients.

Patrick Talbot, currently fleet manager for the HBOS Fleet, will take temporary charge of the Lex Autolease fleet. A full time replacement will be appointed shortly.
The company has yet to integrate its two fleets following the merger of Lloyds TSB and HBOS in September 2008. Lloyds operates 5,624 vehicles, while HBOS has 8,516 according to the Fleet200. Both are almost entirely car fleets.
