Hot on the heels of her starring role at the World Cup kick-off concert and recent Glastonbury Festival appearance global pop sensation Shakira has announced details of the European leg of her 2010 world tour, sponsored by SEAT.
A dizzying schedule of European dates throughout November and December this year will see the Colombian singer perform all over the Continent, with dates confirmed in - among many other cities - Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Lisbon and Barcelona.
And the great news for her British fans is that the Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter has a cluster of UK concerts lined up. She'll be visiting the MEN Arena Manchester on 14 December; the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on 17 December and the SECC, Glasgow on 19 December. The finale of the European tour is set to be London's O2 Arena on 20 December.
Shakira will perform songs from her collection of smash hits including Waka Waka, She Wolf, La Tortura and the hit single Hips Don't Lie which was No 1 in 55 countries and reached No 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 to become the most-played song in the history of US pop radio.
There will also be a sneak preview of songs from her new album Sale El Sol, which is due for release this autumn.
SEAT and Shakira have a collaboration agreement which sees the sporty Spanish car manufacturer sponsor the star's European tour, produced by Live Nation. The singer is also acting as a distinguished ambassador for SEAT throughout the tour. Additionally, SEAT is supporting Shakira's Barefoot Foundation charity in its efforts to deliver universal education.
SEAT is also celebrating its partnership with the Colombian pop sensation with the recent debut in UK showrooms of a special edition SEAT Ibiza Good Stuff. It is based on the popular Ibiza 1.4 SE, available in both practical 5dr and sporty SC bodystyles, and boasts a sparkling array of neat extras for its bargain £12,300 RRP (£12,710 RRP for the 5dr).
