Hendy Kia has won a deal to provide 14 Kia cee’d EcoDynamics SWs for combustion technology and energy specialists Saacke Combustion Services.

The cee’d EcoDynamics are fitted with stop and go technology, automatically shutting the engine down when the car is at a standstill and in neutral. The system not only reduces fuel consumption, but also increases fuel economy as well as reducing emissions by 5%.

Phil Kemp, service manager at Saacke Combustion Services, said: “Our aim was to select an estate car that could deliver a solution to satisfy a number of key requirements.

“Not least, it had to have the functionality, reliability and space for our technicians to perform their job and as they spend a lot of time in the car, it had to offer good specification as well as a rewarding drive. We were also looking to minimise our carbon footprint, fuel consumption levels and reduce costs for the business.

“We were really impressed with the attributes of the Kia cee’d SW and it ticked all of the boxes. The real clincher was the peace of mind offered by Kia’s 7-year warranty.”
