Hitachi Capital awards three year contract to Manheim Remarketing

Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions has awarded an exclusive three year contract to Manheim Remarketing. As part of the contract, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions is expected to remarket over 15,000 vehicles through various Manheim sales channels over the contract’s three year period. More than 100 cars per week will be offered through both Leeds and Bristol auction centres, in addition to commercial vehicles for weekly sale through Manheim Auctions’ Gloucester site.

Tim Bowden, head of operations, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, explains, “We reviewed the remarketing industry for a number of months during the tender process and were most impressed with Manheim’s innovative approach and customer focus. As a significant supplier in the auction industry, its expertise in both car and commercial vehicle remarketing and a strong nationwide reach, complements all the divisions of Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions. We are confident of the results that Manheim can deliver over the next three years.”

Mike Pilkington, managing director, Manheim Remarketing, says, “We are delighted to be supporting one of the UK’s top leasing providers with its vehicle remarketing efforts. This is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our ability as a holistic remarketing supplier and we look forward to developing a relationship with Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions that will continue well into the future.”
