Fleet Hire in Westway contract win

Fleet Hire has been making the first deliveries of an 85+ LCV order to existing client Westway Services, worth in excess of £1.1m and adding to the 60 vehicles already supplied by the company.

London-based Westway are specialists in building services for built environments. Established in 2000 they are going from strength to strength with high-profile clients such as M&S, Fitness First and Australia House.

To meet the vans’ demanding roles, Fleet Hire relationship director Heather Bright identified a model that would be fit for purpose and negotiated with manufacturers to win the best deal for Westway, resulting in the supply of predominantly Peugeot Expert vans complete with bespoke racking and sign writing.

Westway financial director Vivien Hale said: “Service levels, savings and impact on our business are key factors for us. Our company has expanded rapidly and as a result we have been a demanding customer for Fleet Hire.

“It is very comforting to report that they have risen to every challenge that we have thrown at them and have been highly pro-active throughout. Their ambition to succeed and deliver quality service at all times mirrors ours.”
