Experian appoints Alistair Scullion to lead Automotive business in UK & Ireland

Experian, the global information services company, has announced the appointment of Alistair Scullion as managing director of its Automotive business in the UK & Ireland.

He will report to Paul Vescovi, UK & Ireland managing director of Experian’s Credit Services business.

Scullion joined Experian in 2004 and has worked closely with the Automotive business, having held various senior management positions within the company.

Prior to his appointment, he was marketing director for Experian in UK and Ireland and EMEA region. Before joining Experian, he held a number of commercial management and senior consulting roles with Barclays Bank and IBM Global Services.

Vescovi said: “Under Alistair’s leadership, we will be intensifying the innovation and support we provide to our clients in the UK’s automotive sector. Our client focus will ensure that we are always the first choice for companies looking to maximise sales and minimise the risks associated with buying and selling vehicles.”
