Practical Car and Van rental Chippenham successfully underwent its first routine quality control inspection this month by the BVRLA and were issued with a pass.

In a letter to Practical Chippenham, John Lewis, chief executive of the BVLA, wrote: “I now write to advise you, that the inspector could not fault the operation. The Association would like to take this opportunity of congratulating you and all of the staff on the achievement and in complying, in such an exemplary fashion, with the association’s code of conduct in the respect of the quality of vehicles provided for your customers”.

CanDo Contracts, the parent company of Practical Car and Van rental Chippenham, has been members of the BVRLA since the company commenced trading in October 2009.

Practical offers short to medium term car and van rental solutions whilst CanDo Contracts specialises in long term leasing, finance and fleet management solutions for businesses and private individuals.

John Mitchell, managing director of CanDo Contracts, said: “We are very proud of what we have achieved in our first two years’ of trading and to get this kind of acknowledgement from an organisation such as the BVRLA we feel is an accolade indeed.”
