ING Car Lease appoints director of sales

Formerly head of business development at Lex Autolease, Mark Cubbon has been appointed as the new director of sales at ING Car Lease. Cubbon was educated at Sheffield University and boasts a career of over 14 years in senior management posts in financial services and leasing. He fills the position created by Paul Ormerod who left the business, emigrating to Australia, earlier this year.

Cubbon said: “ING Car Lease is a business with a great reputation in the industry and I jumped at the chance to join the team that is really focused on service, quality and innovating in the fleet market. As leasing companies grow, the importance of customer care can sometimes get lost. This is certainly not the case at ING, which has an infectious culture of positivity.”

Mark Cubbon’s remit at ING Car Lease includes new business development, continuing the growth in the public sector division and ongoing development in areas such as fleet finance and salary sacrifice schemes.
