Peugeot and Citroen have joined TyreSafe, the not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness about the correct tyre maintenance and the dangers of defective and worn tyres.

As members of the organisation they will use their own and TyreSafe campaign materials to educate customers about the importance of looking after their tyres.

TyreSafe chairman, Stuart Jackson, said: “Car and passenger safety has always been a high priority for Peugeot and Citroen, as demonstrated by their tyre pressure monitoring systems, customer education programmes and free tyre safety checks.”

Peugeot parts and service director, David Higgins, said: “We are delighted to join TyreSafe and help spread the tyre safety message to our customers and staff alike.”
