Sales success prompts recruitment drive at RAC Warranty

A 20% year-on-year increase in sales among independent used car dealers is prompting RAC Warranty to launch a search for new agents during September and October.

The company is seeking to expand the number of freelance sales people that sell its range of warranty products in regions right across the country.

RAC Warranty sales and marketing director Ian Simpson explained: “We have seen a 20% increase in sales into the independent sector during the last 12 months, building on top of similar rises in the previous years. The reasons for this are, we believe, simple – good products, a brand that enjoys a high level of consumer confidence, and strong support.

“To further increase our penetration, we need more agents and are having a recruitment drive during the next couple of months. We are keen to hear from people with established warranty portfolios as well as new entrants. The latter will be supported appropriately through their first few months in the field to maximise their chances of success.”
