With almost 70,000 orders to date in Western Europe, the A-Class has become Mercedes-Benz’s most successful launch ever.

Launched at Geneva Motor Show this year, the five-seater A-Class boasts emissions from 98 g/km of CO2, with a strong focus on safety and sporty appeal.

At the time of Launch at Geneva, Mercedes had high hopes for the new A-Class and set ambitious growth targets with the expectation to double their customer base. With over 70,000 orders in Western Europe alone, the A-Class has exceeded expectations.

"With the new A-Class, Mercedes-Benz is setting new standards in many disciplines, not least when it comes to the area of safety", emphasizes Prof Dr Thomas Weber, Daimler board member responsible for group research and head of Mercedes-Benz cars development.
