Neil Broad has been appointed the new general manager for Toyota/Lexus Fleet and Vehicle Remarketing Services, replacing Ewan Shepherd who has moved to the role of general manager sales operations.

Broad said: “As we approach the end of 2012 with fleet sales up more than 14 per cent year on year, my role is to ensure we maintain momentum.  The great news for 2013 is the introduction of new Auris.

"My challenge is to improve fleet awareness of this great British-built car and attract new customers to the brand. With its impressive cost of ownership and availability in petrol, diesel and hybrid versions, Auris will undoubtedly add impetus to our fleet sales.”

Broad, 43, joined Toyota in 1998 spending four years as sales operations manager in a field-based role before moving to head office in 2002 as manager, sales and marketing programmes.

He was then promoted to manager, Toyota Centre Marketing Services in 2004, and become national franchising manager in 2009. He joined the fleet team in 2011 and was manager, marketing and fleet programmes prior to taking up his new position.
