Chargemaster appoints finance director

Chargemaster, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Michael Brooks as finance director of the company with immediate effect.

Brooks has over 20 years experience in financial positions across a variety of sectors with particular experience in helping companies achieve significant growth.

During his time as finance director for Loans.co.uk, he was instrumental in growing revenues from £8 million to £100 million within a five year period from 2001 to 2006, and to its eventual trade sale to a major US bank.

Most recently he owned MJ Brooks Consultancy providing tailored financial consultancy, transactional and project leadership to over 50 clients between 2006 and 2011.

During this time MJ Brooks Consultancy provided clients with the development of strategic business plans and support into their implementation, including the funding and accounting aspects of their requirements.
