Prestige Fleet Servicing growth leads to new appointments

Prestige Fleet Servicing Ltd (part of the Prestige Motor Care Group) has announced the appointment of Harvey Burton as national sales manager. Burton previously spent 17 years as fleet account manager at Halfords Auto Centres, managing large fleet and leasing accounts; prior to Halfords he was with Kwik-Fit Fleet.

Joe Bhamra, Prestige Motor Care commercial director commented “We are delighted that Harvey chose to join Prestige at a time when our specialist fleet products have seen tremendous recent growth. As part of our strategy to increase our fleet and leasing customer base, together with growing our list of products and services, Harvey will spearhead our sales drive into this important sector for Prestige”.

Bill Daulby, group chairman commented, “We know from our clients that Prestige Fleet Servicing is delivering added value and significant cost savings to direct fleets, leasing, fleet management and warranty companies. This price/value mix is already reflected in the growth of our business in 2012.

Harvey will contribute a considerable level of industry experience and knowledge as we continue to grow into the future.”

Burton commented “Prestige offers a highly flexible, cost efficient and viable alternative to traditional franchised networks, together with a strong LCV proposition. Operating through an independent network of Preferred Service Centres this sees us ideally positioned for fleet growth.”

In addition, Paul Hinkley-Seadon, previously with Lex Autolease, joins the Prestige Operations team and will be assisting the team with the growing number of clients using Prestige for managing SMR authorisation incidents. Paul worked for Lex Autolease for 4 years within their Technical team in a number of different roles including maintenance control, manufacturer recall management and major unit solutions.
