Birmingham-based motoring safety charity DriveSafe has chosen Road Safety Week (November 18-24) and the fourth anniversary of its ‘Courtesy on the Road’ campaign to launch an online newsletter.

DriveSafe News is aimed at keeping readers up to date with DriveSafe’s efforts to keep driving as safe and as pleasant as possible.

Packed with national news stories, opinions and advice, the first issue includes an exclusive interview with the Police and Crime Commissioner for the West Midlands Bob Jones.

DriveSafe Founder Fay Goodman said: “I hope DriveSafe News will encourage people to go the extra mile to be safe and courteous and help reduce the potential for conflict on the roads.”

The first issue of DriveSafe News is available to view and download by going to www.drivesafe-staysafe.co.uk.

The online newsletter follows the publication of a new handbook, DriveSafe - An Essential Guide for Motorists, produced last year in association with Goodmedia Ltd and Aston University.
