Cineworld is assigning its fleet management programme to Pendragon Contracts following a competitive supplier selection process.

The appointment has been made in a bid to bring uniformity and clarity to Cineworld’s company car policy and introduce a more employee focused service.

Previously the fleet was split between Pendragon Contracts and various brokers. Now Pendragon Contracts will manage the maintenance of the full fleet and supply replacement vehicles when due for renewal.

This will assist Cineworld in consolidating the process, saving time for the fleet manager and providing consistency for the drivers.

Nicole Tomlinson, senior HR business partner at Cineworld, said: “The appointment will provide greater focus to our fleet and enable us to introduce a strategy that will benefit the organisation long-term.

“Previously, Pendragon Contracts has delivered a good consultative service to Cineworld so I was happy to appoint the company on a sole basis to provide us with a comprehensive, intelligent, fleet and accident management programme.”

John Given, sales and marketing director at Pendragon Contracts, added: “We are delighted to take on responsibility of Cineworld’s full fleet, creating a more cost-effective policy that provides uniformity for its drivers.”
