Motiva Group has added risk management to its fleet management offering after forming a partnership with TR Fleet to resell DriveSecure.

TR Fleet’s DriveSecure, which was developed in-house, provides employers with a long-term road safety commitment, a joined up risk management programme (driving licence checking, risk profiling and training) comprehensive documentation checks, a tailored performance and stress management option and in-car driver training.

Motiva Group will now offer DriveSecure to existing and future customers, to support employers in meeting their duty of care around road safety and driving for work.

Peter Davenport, chief executive of Motiva Group, said: “If risk management isn’t on the agenda in your boardroom then it should be. Most businesses are aware that they have a duty of care towards employees – and they realise how important it is to fulfil those obligations.

“A lot of companies don’t know how to go about this where company vehicles are concerned, though, which could leave them open to legal action and higher-than-necessary premiums. That’s where risk management comes in, and we’re really pleased to be able to offer DriveSecure to our customers.

“Our aim is to be a one-stop-shop for vehicle solutions, and the agreement with TR Fleet is really the last piece of the jigsaw.”

Commenting on the partnership, Julie Summerell, managing director of TR Fleet said: “We have worked closely with Motiva over the past three years and we are delighted to be strengthening this relationship by providing the Group with a comprehensive risk management programme that is a perfect enhancement to their current vehicle solutions service.

“Both companies are passionate about promoting road safety and risk management, and we know that DriveSecure will add real value to their customers.”
