Northgate Limerick relocates following success

The relocation forms part of Northgate’s continued expansion across the country, following a 15% growth in its Irish operation last year.

Situated in the centre of Limerick next to St. John’s Cathedral on Cathedral Place, Northgate’s new branch is housed in larger premises to service the growing demand for flexible vehicle hire in and around the city.

In addition to housing up to 400 vehicles, the new branch features a fully equipped workshop and caters for short, medium and long-term rentals. Local customers will also have access to further cash flow benefits, as Northgate has removed any upfront costs for companies looking to hire, allowing local business owners to order and collect vehicles on the same day without parting with any money for 30 days.

Darren McNamara, Branch Manager at Northgate Limerick, said: “The new branch location at Cathedral Place is well situated in Limerick, allowing us to deliver our appealing and flexible vehicle hire offering to local businesses. Our growth in the West of Ireland has been very encouraging, and we are confident that the flexibility and the clear cash benefits our service offers will assist in the success of our expansion.”

McNamara continued: “We are welcoming all local businesses to visit our Limerick branch and discuss our flexible offering, whether as a sole solution to their fleet requirements or as part of a wider vehicle acquisition strategy, our Branch Supervisor, Cathal, and our Rental Representative, Andrew, will be on hand to discuss the range of options available.”

John Murphy, local Sales Manager for Northgate, said: “Northgate’s Irish operation grew from strength to strength last year; we believe the relocation of the branch will help to maintain this growth throughout 2014. With the majority of companies operating in the Limerick area still riding the post-recession waves, the availability of capital continues to be an issue; as a result we’ve tailored our hassle free and flexible fleet offering to free fixed capital for our customers. This, teamed with our excellent customer service and quality vehicles, leaves me confident that the new branch will be a success.”
