LeasePlan appoints new finance director

Vehicle fleet management and leasing company LeasePlan has appointed Patrick Steenvoorden as its finance director.

Steenvoorden has worked for LeasePlan for more than nine years, most recently as senior corporate vice-president of risk management for LeasePlan Corporation.

He has also held the roles of director of mergers and acquisitions and senior manager of corporate strategy and development.

Matt Dyer, managing director at LeasePlan UK, said: “Patrick will be responsible for driving our financial performance, identifying and maximising opportunities and contributing to our growth agenda.

“Patrick’s extensive experience working for LeasePlan will be an incredible asset and he will be a key part of the managing board.”

Steenvoorden said: “Having worked across numerous parts of the business over the past nine years I believe I have a firm understanding of both the organisation and the opportunities for growth.

“I look forward to being part of the LeasePlan UK team and helping to make 2015 and beyond successful for the business.”
