Transport provider 24x7 Limited has taken delivery of 100 Citroën Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ e-HDi 115 MPVs.

The Stansted-based private hire company provides specialist transport for children and young people with special educational needs.

The Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ models were bought outright and will be operated on a high-mileage schedule for 12 months.

24x7 Limited used CAP vehicle valuations to establish that the Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ MPVs offered the best residual values in class based on 30,000 miles per annum.

The vehicles were supplied by Citroën London West.

The new Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ MPVs will be maintained by a local Citroën authorised repairer, along with a number of nine-seat Citroën Dispatch Combis, Relay minibuses and the remainder of 24x7 Limited's 600 passenger carrying vehicle fleet.

Andy Mahoney, managing director at 24x7 Limited, said: "Citroën Grand C4 Picassos are a perfect match for our corporate environmental aspirations, while delivering the low operating costs and excellent residual values crucial for our business.

“We transport some of the most vulnerable young people and their carers, where reliability and safety is paramount."

Drivers working for 24x7 Limited receive comprehensive training in defensive driving techniques, as well as taking sign language courses and awareness courses for autism, ADHD, Asperger's syndrome and epilepsy.
