Commercial property data specialist CoStar has added more Toyota hybrids to its fleet, having favoured the technology since its original order for Prius models in 2006.

The company, which operates nationwide from a network of eight city locations, has taken delivery of eight Yaris hybrid models.

Each has been wrapped in CoStar’s distinctive corporate livery.

Calum Graham, of CoStar’s Field Research Operations, said: “Each member of our field research team drives between 15,000 and 20,000 miles a year, so we need vehicles which are both efficient and reliable.

"We’ve found that hybrid technology is the ideal solution, with the added benefit of lower emissions.

"These factors make Yaris a cost-effective proposition that also contributes to our business’s environmental profile.”

CoStar provides a comprehensive on-line database service for commercial property professionals, conducting real-time monitoring of the status of more than 400,000 commercial buildings across the UK.

Tracking information such as lettings, sales, tenancy, lease expiries and demolition, it provides state-of-the-art research that helps thousands of property professionals make faster and better informed decisions.
