Fleet software supplier Jaama has further strengthened its project management team as it continues to expand its customer portfolio.

Pedro Amado has been appointed a project manager and will work with customers on implementation of Jaama’s Key2 software and provide training to new and existing customers so as they gain maximum benefit from the technology.

Amado, a Portugese national who started his career as a software developer in his native country before moving into project management, has joined Jaama at an exciting time with the company forecasting significant growth in 2016.

UK organisations collectively operating more than 700,000 vehicles rely on Key2 and that total is expected to rise significantly this year with growth predicted in all sectors - public and private sector fleets, vehicle leasing and rental companies and the plant and tool hire sector.

Amada, who holds an engineering degree, an MBA, certification as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute in Portugal and speaks fives languages while learning a further two, previously worked in the UK for web content management company Zengenti.

He said: “The opportunity to work for Jaama interested me because of the business area in which the company operates and the functionality provided by Key2. Jaama is also an exciting organisation to work for due to the size of the market that it serves and growth potential.”

That point was underlined by Jaama managing director Martin Evans who said: “2016 is promising to be another fantastic year for Jaama. We continue to increase staffing levels to ensure our ever-growing customer base is well served by expert support.

“Our project management team works hand-in-hand with our customers to ensure successful Key2 implementation and that they have the knowledge to maximise Key2 functionality to improve operating effectiveness and efficiency across their businesses.”
