Allianz launches new SME-focused insurance product

Insurance policy and car key

Allianz has launched Complete Mini Fleet, a new e-trade product which provides insurance cover for companies operating small fleets of between three and eight vehicles, or up to 15 vehicles at renewal.

Available via Allianz’s e-trading platform Quote SME, Complete Mini Fleet is targeted at business cars and goods carrying vehicles which are less than 7.5 tonnes.

The new product can accommodate more than 3,000 trades and occupations. It also has full-cycle functionality with the ability to quote, buy, adjust and renew online, and access to specialist SME underwriters and Allianz’s instant messaging service - ‘Live Chat’.

Furthermore, customers will have access to a courtesy vehicle following an accident via Allianz’s approved repairer network, pay-on-use breakdown cover, accidental misfuelling cover, and new for old cover for vehicles less than one year old.

Complete Mini Fleet complements Allianz’s existing e-trade product suite and is reinforced by an expert claims service and risk management support.

Jonathan Dye, Allianz’s head of motor, said: “Building upon our existing strength within the motor sector, we’ve created Complete Mini Fleet to meet the needs of customers within small fleets.

“We know that fleet operators, large and small, are continuously faced with the challenge of running their businesses more effectively and safely. Our new product combines extensive cover with our superior e-trading capability which will provide our customers with valuable business support.”

Tom Leonard, Allianz’s SME branch manager, added: “We’ve listened to our brokers and customers, and created a new e-trade product which provides them with more than just a traditional insurance offering. This exciting new addition to our suite of e-trade products means we have the ability to offer our customers the broadest range of solutions through one digital platform, supported by our expert underwriters.”
