Inchcape Fleet Solutions (IFS) has launched a vehicle navigator tool to help drivers decide which car is best suited for them.

Built by the leasing company’s in-house development team, the new online tool guides drivers through a series of questions regarding vehicle preferences, usage and journey types before providing guidance on which fuel types and vehicles would work best for them based on their selections.

Providing impartial advice and guidance needed by drivers to make informed decisions, the IFS Vehicle Navigator has been created to cater for an increasing number of fleets looking for help with car policies.

Lee Hamlett, commercial director at IFS, said: "With much uncertainty within our industry, we have found an increasing requirement from our customers and drivers for support when making policy changes or vehicle choices, as they feel unable to make informed decisions.

“The Inchcape Fleet Solutions Vehicle Navigator tool has been designed to do just that, and in a simple to use format which can be used by all.”

Hamlett explained that IFS’s in-house development team had worked closely with its customer base and data providers to ensure the tool provides the guidance needed when choosing a new vehicle and assessing what fuel type is best.

“When providing a sneak preview of the IFS Vehicle Navigator tool to customers at our recent Fleet Exchange event, it was met with some feedback, so we are delighted to share this with everyone today," he said.
