Enterprise Car Club teams up with Translink

Enterprise Car Club has teamed up with Translink to bring its car club services to Belfast’s Lanyon Place and Great Victoria Street railway.

There will be two low-emission car club vehicles at each station, available to rent by the hour or the day. The cars add to the existing car club fleet based at Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches in Belfast, Omagh and Portadown.

Car club members can book via an app, online or by phone and then access the vehicle using the app.

Dan Gursel, managing director of Enterprise Car Club, said: “We are delighted to work with Translink to launch this service. There is increasing demand from people for integrated mobility services, which make it easy to move between public and shared transport such as car clubs.

“This initiative brings that option to residents, businesses and visitors in Belfast. We already have car club vehicles based at or very close to railway stations in England and Scotland and have seen how people integrate rail and car club into travel plans.”

Prestige Fleet Servicing has announced a partnership to guarantee the supply of Mobil products to its AA Approved Garage network.

The partnership will see garages within the network gain savings on lubricants and is designed to help garages struggling with cost-of-living rises in the wake of rising fuel bills, says Anthony Garbacz, network director at AA Approved Garages.
