Tier Mobility appoints Markus Windisch and Trecilla Lobo as chief business officer and chief people officer, respectively.

In his new role, Windisch will be responsible for driving demand and increasing operational efficiency to help boost profitability across all markets. All regions will report into Windisch.

He joins the company from HelloFresh, where for the last four years, he led operations across the company’s 16 global market as international chief operating officer (COO).

In her new role, Lobo will be responsible for driving the people culture and experience as well as for the ongoing integration framework and implementing a ‘more effective’ organisational design to help support the commercial goals of the company, Tier said.

She joins the company with nearly 25 years’ experience in HR, working with companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Microsoft, Deliveroo, SwiftKey and Receipt Bank.

TTC Group appoints Ian Snadden to join team

TTC Group has appointed Ian Snadden to join its team on a non-executive basis working with TTC’s board and senior management team to help develop the growth of its public sector and corporate businesses.

The company said Snadden brings experience to the TTC business, having recently been named president of Aerospace and Manufacturing, a $1bn global business unit within Stanley Industrial, a business group of Stanley Black and Decker (SWK).

Having joined the company as chief commercial officer (CCO) in July 2020, Snadden led strategic marketing and commercial excellence across the five business units comprising the $2.5bn Stanley Industrial, TTC said.

Prior to joining Stanley Black and Decker, Snadden served as president of electrical products at Honeywell, where he led the turnaround of a $350M global low voltage electrical products business unit.

During his tenure with Honeywell, Snadden held several president and general manager positions within Honeywell’s $3bn industrial safety personal protective equipment (PPE) and $1.2bn scanning and mobility businesses.

Before joining Honeywell in 2013 as part of the acquisition of Intermec Technologies, he was vice president and general manager EMEA.

He also served as vice president and general manager, systems and technology UKMEA at Unisys Corporation having spent the first half of his career within sales and sales leadership positions within the information technology sector at DEC, Compaq, Unisys and Fujitsu Siemens.

Rupert Pontin joins One Auto API as director

Rupert Pontin has been appointed as commercial director of One Auto API.

Pontin joins the business to help customers to maximise the opportunities presented by One Auto API's data integration system.

The company said Pontin is ideally placed to understand the opportunities unlocked by One Auto API, with long experience spanning business-critical data, retail and disposal operations including senior roles with Cazana, AutoVista and BCA.

He is also connected with the wider automotive network, as a judge for industry awards, deputy chair of the Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) and a frequent conference speaker.

Enginieius names Tristram Benson as commercial director

Engineius has appointed Tristram Benson as its new commercial director, responsible for taking the company on its next phase of its growth journey.

He joins the company from Michelin Connected Fleet, where he was previously director for the heavy goods vehicle segment.

Adam Chassin joins Volta Trucks as CCO

Volta Trucks has appointed Adam Chassin as its CCO.

In his role as CCO, Chassin will report to Volta Trucks’ CEO, Essa Al-Saleh, and oversee the company’s sales and business development functions, as well as marketing, public policy and communications.

Chassin is the former head of business for Uber in Europe where he had responsibility for driving Uber’s growth through partnerships across Europe.

He is also the former head of strategic business development for Amazon where he worked across the portfolio of Amazon’s businesses to scale the Amazon Prime subscription business, launch new businesses such as Prime Now (Amazon’s two-hour delivery service), develop new market entry strategies, and structure strategic partnerships to accelerate the growth of Amazon business units.

Recently, Chassin has worked closely with founders and CEOs of early-stage companies across Europe, as both an operator, investor, and board member focused on scaling commercial teams to help accelerate growth.

Most recently, he served as CCO of Instafreight, an early-stage digital logistics platform.
