Hyundai has confirmed the pricing and specification for the facelifted Tucson SUV, which has fresh styling, new technology and an updated interior.

The new model is available to order now, priced from £32,000.

Externally, the Tucson retains its distinctive looks. Enhancements come in the form of revised bumpers and a new grille design.

Bigger changes are applied inside, where the Tucson adopts a 'panoramic' digital display that joins the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. To accommodate the new display, Hyundai has redesigned the car's dashboard completely and it now offers a similar layout to the brand's Ioniq electric models.

The technology updates include the introduction of over-the-air software updates and a new digital key system will enable drivers to unlock and start the car, handsfree, using their smartphone as a proximity key.

Hyundai will carry over its existing powertrain line-up, offering petrol, mild-hybrid, hybrid and plug-in hybrid options. A two-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid, not previously offered, is also now available.

Priced from £34,500, the Tucson Premium gains 18-inch alloy wheels, part leather seat trim, with electrically adjustable and heated front seats, rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, smart electric tailgate and rear window sun blinds. There is also a KRELL audio system and wireless phone charging pad.

The N Line trim level (also from £34,500) adds a number of external styling changes to enhance the models sporting aesthetic, with bespoke 19-inch N Line wheels, body coloured wheel arches and N Line design package with changes to both front and rear bumper design. Interior changes include N Line interior design package with red accents and stitching.

Sitting above the N Line, the N Line S, priced from £37,000 , the N Line S adds electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats, rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, matrix LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof, the KRELL audio system, surround view monitor, blind spot view monitor, parking distance warning with front, side and rear detection zones, and parking collision avoidance assist on DCT and Hybrid powertrains.

The Ultimate trim level, available from £37,000, sits above the Premium trim, with the addition of 19-inch alloy wheels and matrix LED headlamps. Interior equipment is also enhanced, with the addition of driver’s seat position memory function, ventilated front seats and leather seat trim. Safety additions include the surround view monitor, blind spot view monitor, parking distance warning with front, side and rear detection zones, and parking collision avoidance assist on DCT and Hybrid powertrains.
