ECG Facilities Services has placed an order for 51 Škodas, following a vehicle evaluation which covered CO2 emissions, efficiency, storage, comfort and ergonomics

The vehicles – made up of 22 Škoda Superb SE Business models and 29 Škoda Octavia SE Business Greenline models – are all in candy white and will be used by ECG Facilities service engineers.

Patrick McGillycuddy, head of fleet at Škoda UK said: “We are extremely pleased that ECG Facilities has chosen to supply its business drivers with Škodas. Every new fleet contract is a testament to Škoda's core offering, which continues to offer class-leading CO2 emissions and excellent wholelife costs without compromising on style or efficiency.”

Tim Muir, fleet manager at ECG Facilities, said: “When factoring in the results of our vehicle evaluation, road tests and costs, it really became a no brainer, Škoda Superb and Octavia were the right choice. We chose the Superb and Octavia estates because they benefit our company with reliability and low running costs. The serious value Škoda offered meant we could also supply our engineers with high spec cars - we want them to be happy with their cars more than anything else.”
