City of Olympia opts for Chevin’s fleet management software

City of Olympia in Washington has chosen Chevin’s FleetWave software to manage its diverse municipal fleet and help deliver ongoing cost savings.

Having previously used an inflexible financial software system to manage its fleet of 450 pieces of equipment, fire apparatus and support vehicles , the municipal body wants to more effectively capture and store complete fleet-related data centrally while supporting remote access for is departmental customers.

FleetWave will allow the City of Olympia’s fleet management team greater control over its operations by automating workshop repair and maintenance scheduling, providing enhanced integration with its fuelling systems and streamlining monthly billing processes.

Ron Katz, SVP North American Sales, said: “FleetWave will support the City of Olympia’s complex and very specific equipment management requirements, while allowing the fleet management team to improve preventive maintenance and compliance oversight.”
