DS will launch its new 7 Crossback SUV with an exclusive La Premiere edition costing £42,650.
The model will be available in limited numbers and comes highly-specified with LED headlights, leather upholstery and two 12-inch instrument screens.
It highlights the latest technologies that will subsequently be available across the range: DS Connected Pilot -paving the way for autonomous driving through Active Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist, DS Night Vision - considerably improving visibility for driving at night, and DS Active Scan Suspension - which uses a camera to anticipate bumps and undulations in the road for optimising ride comfort.
Two engines are available: 180PS BlueHDi diesel and 225PS THP petrol, both mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The diesel is the most efficient, returning 58.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 128g/km. It can accelerate from 0-62mph in 9.4 seconds and reach 128MPH.
Order books are open for reservations for the Limited Edition, which is only available until the end of the year

Instead of wasting effort designing tarted up version, they should be putting their efforts to actually getting it on the market, especially the hybrid version before its too late and HMRC dreams up some way to make them nonviable too. Every day its sat in Autocad and not a showrooms is lost sales!
