Renault has announced a new line-up for its Clio, Captur and Mégane ranges, with three trim levels – Play, Iconic and GT Line.

The new line-up simplifies choice and improves specification across the models.

Renault Clio prices and specification

The Renault Clio will now be available with three engine and transmission options. The Clio provides the options of the TCe 75 engine with five-speed manual transmission or the dCi 90 engine with either five-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic. Prices start at £13,500, a reduction of £445 compared to the previous entry version.

Entry-level Play includes 16-inch alloy wheels, DAB, Bluetooth, smartphone integration, cruise control, air conditioning, electrically-adjustable and heated door mirrors, keyless entry.

Iconic models are available from £14,700, a £254 saving when compared to the previous Dynamique Nav. Features include 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, tinted rear and tailgate windows and chrome window surrounds. MediaNav multimedia system with seven-inch touchscreen satellite navigation is also included.

Top-of-the-range Clio GT Line receives styling enhancements, plus full LED headlights, automatic headlights and wipers, climate control, leather steering wheel and rear electric windows. The Clio GT Line is available from £16,250.

Renault Captur prices and specification

Renault’s best-selling car in the UK is now available with a choice of either the TCe 90 petrol engine with a five-speed manual transmission or the dCi 90 diesel engine with a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The Captur is now priced from £15,300, an entry price reduction of £315.

Captur Play includes the addition of two-tone exterior paintwork, 16-inch alloy wheels, DAB, Bluetooth, smartphone integration, cruise control, air conditioning and electrically-adjustable and heated door mirrors.

Iconic, which is £405 less than the previous Dynamique Nav version, includes climate control, seven-inch touchscreen multimedia navigation system, Bluetooth, automatic headlights and wipers, 17-inch alloy wheels and rear parking sensors. The Captur Iconic is available from £16,500.

GT Line is £1,755 less than the previous Signature X Nav. It receives automatic folding door mirrors, Hands-Free-Parking, blind spot warning, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, TomTom Live satnav, Android Auto, LED headlights, part-leather upholstery and heated front seats. The Captur GT Line is available from £18,300 OTR.

Renault Mégane and Mégane Sport Tourer prices and specification

The Mégane and Mégane Sport Tourer range are available with a choice of either TCe 130 with six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic or dCi 110 with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. The Mégane is now priced from £17,315 and Mégane Sport Tourer from £18,515, £475 and £335 less than the previous entry versions respectively.

The Mégane Play is fitted with a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and Bluetooth.

Iconic versions add 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, driving mode selector and ambient lighting choices, R-LINK2 with seven-inch touchscreen and TomTom LIVE sat-nav, automatic headlights and wipers, electronic parking brake, rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, electric folding door mirrors, digital speedometer and Arkamys 3D sound system. The Mégane Iconic is available from £18,415, £875 less than the Dynamique Nav.

The Mégane GT Line provides a sportier look. This trim receives a host of body styling and interior ungrades plus an 8.7-inch portrait touchscreen with R-LINK2 Navigation. The Mégane GT Line is available from £20,215.
