Mazda has updated the pricing and specifications for Mazda 3 line-up, which is offered as a hatchback or saloon.

Prices start at £23,945 (OTR).

Updates to the 2024 Mazda 3 include a new larger central screen that has grown from eight to 10.25 inches to allow for clearer navigation mapping. Other connectivity upgrades include Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus QI Wireless Charging, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto navigation is now supported in the head-up display. Additionally, the 2024 Mazda 3 now features USB Type-C charging ports.

The Mazda 3 is offered with e-Skyactiv X and e-Skyactiv G petrol engines.

The Spark Controlled Compression Ignition technology used on the e-Skyactiv X powertrain enables it to produce 186PS and emit 118g/km.

The e-Skyactiv G powertrain produces 122PS and emits 124g/km of CO2. Both engines come with a six-speed manual, while an automatic is available on certain trim grades.

The e-Skyactiv G engine is available across all five Mazda 3 hatchback grades: Prime-Line, Centre-Line, Homura, Exclusive-Line and Takumi – with all but the Prime-Line offered with a choice of automatic or manual gearbox.

Available with Centre-Line, Homura, Exclusive-Line and Takumi grades the e-Skyactiv X engine can be matched to an automatic gearbox on the Exclusive-Line and Takumi.

Prime-Line includes rear parking sensors, reversing camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control and electric folding door mirrors.

Centre-Line, priced from £25,045, adds heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers and front parking sensors.

Homura (£25,545) is equipped with 18-inch wheels, black exterior trim and privacy glass.

The Exclusive-Line (£26,745) includes a Bose sound system, adaptive LED headlights and an automatic dipping rear-view mirror.

Range-topping Takumi is priced from £29,145 and comes with leather upholstery and a heated steering wheel.

The Mazda 3 Saloon is 200mm longer than its hatchback sibling and is offered in Exclusive-Line and Takumi grades with the 186PS e-Skyactiv X engine. The flagship Takumi can be matched to an automatic gearbox. Prices start at £24,150.
