Nissan has launched a new N-Tec trim level for its Micra, Qashqai and X-Trail models, adding technology and design improvements.

All of the models feature black external styling additions, which Nissan says gives an “exclusive, luxury look”.

The Qashqai N-Tec, priced from £26,475, features black 19-inch alloy wheels and darkened LED headlamps. The black-themed upgrade continues inside with Alcantara-trimmed seats.

Technology is also upgraded, adding the ProPilot driver assistance system and Intelligent Park Assist. It also features the NissanConnect infotainment system, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

X-Trail N-Tec is available on the 1.7 dCi engine as a five or seven-seater, with two or four wheel-drive. It comes with 18-inch black alloy wheels, dark chrome V-motion grille, and gloss black details such as roof rails and mirror caps.

The car also boasts door sill protectors with illuminated N-Tec lettering and ProPilot on models fitted with an automatic gearbox. Pricing for the X-Trail N-Tec will be confirmed later this month.

Micra N-Tec is priced from £16,995 and based on the Acenta grade. It has 17-inch black alloy wheels, privacy glass and front fog lights.

To increase convenience, the NissanConnect infotainment system packages a navigation system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as rear parking sensors and rear view camera.

The N-Tec edition is available to order from this month.
