Skoda’s facelifted Kodiaq SUV will have an on-the-road price from £27,650 when orders open next month.

The SUV will be available in five engine options: three petrol and two diesels. DSG transmissions and four-wheel drive are available on selected models.

All engines are part of the brand’s new EVO line. Skoda says the ‘twin dosing’ method of exhaust gas treatment applied in the diesel engines lowers nitrogen oxide emissions by roughly 80%, while the petrol engines’ fuel consumption is reduced through a range of technologies.

The models also feature improved assistance systems, including a new adaptive cruise control function and a new emergency braking function that can detect both pedestrians and cyclists.

The facelifted Kodiaq will be available in five trim levels – SE, SE L, SportLine, L&K and vRS.

Skoda says all models in the revised range enjoy significant specification and equipment boost over previous models.

SE models can be ordered in both five- and seven-seat layouts with all other models in the range featuring seven seats as standard.

Order books open early June with UK deliveries scheduled for July.
