Alphabet boosts employee engagement with new appointment

Alphabet has appointed Clare Witty as employee engagement manager.

Witty, who has more than 10 years' experience at BMW Group UK working in events and partnerships, has been tasked with developing Alphabet’s engagement programme.

Her role focuses on three key areas of the business: cultural value; reward and recognition; and corporate social responsibility and charity.

Witty said: “Alphabet as a business is hugely infectious. The teams thrive on a strong employee culture; something that Alphabet has worked hard to nurture over the past couple of years. It’s not about hierarchy, it’s about an organisation that has grown together over time. I am thrilled to be part of a business whose senior executive team is so enthusiastic about the role each employee plays and this is something I am excited to be involved in.”
