The Enterprise Holdings Foundation, the charitable arm of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, has matched the fundraising efforts of fleet management specialist CLM in support of the Leukaemia Care charity.

These fund-raising efforts come after a long serving manager was diagnosed with the disease and rushed to hospital for treatment.

At Hallowe'en last year, staff at Newport Pagnell-based CLM, along with colleagues from parent company Maxxia, raised money for leukaemia research from a variety of fund-raising activities.

In an effort to boost the amounted raised still further, CLM approached Enterprise Holdings for a donation to support the Halloween efforts. The request was approved and a cheque for a further £1,000 raised and issued.

CLM’s managing director John Kelly said: “Our heartfelt thanks to Enterprise for their support in raising a charitable donation for Leukaemia Care, which echoed the Halloween fund-raising efforts of our staff at CLM and Maxxia.

“This has been particularly poignant for us as one of our own has been stricken down with the disease and we wish her the very speediest of recoveries.”
