BNP Paribas Rental Solutions has appointed a new head of operations, Ged Mellish, charged with introducing “lean operational processes”.

Mellish (pictured) will be responsible for introducing processes to deliver best-in-class customer experiences throughout the relationship, alongside driving growth plans.

Head of BNP Paribas Rental Solutions Benoit Laflamme said: “Ged brings with him a unique set of skills and experience that will be of utmost value to our business. I am delighted to welcome him to our team here at BNP Paribas Rental Solutions.”

Formerly regional fleet engineering manager at Saint-Gobain, Mellish was jointly responsible for the management of 3,000 heavy and light commercial vehicles, including the company’s MHE fleet leased to internal customers in the UK. Prior to this, he was an engineering compliance manager at Canute Haulage Group.

Mellish said: “I am delighted to be joining a business that I have long admired, and particularly to be doing so during this time of growth and change.

“I look forward to fully embedding myself in the Rental Solutions business and overseeing operations during this time.”
