SmartDrive Systems has announced the death of Aidan Rowsome, vice president of EMEA, following a light aircraft accident on Friday, June 14 2019.

He joined SmartDrive in August 2015, bringing to the organisation nearly 25 years of experience working in high-tech, specialising in SaaS-based business solutions in fleet and risk management.

A trusted and valued colleague, Aidan was a highly motivated professional with a knack for building relationships with key stakeholders and mentoring high performing teams.

We are grateful at SmartDrive for having had the opportunity to work alongside such an incredible person like Aidan and he will be sorely missed. Our hearts and prayers are with his family at this time.”

Prior to joining SmartDrive, Rowsome held senior roles at Unity, GreenRoad, RAC, Northcore Technologies, Telus and Quarterdeck.
