Maxus has confirmed the specifications and pricing for its new electric van, the eDeliver 9.

Based on the recently launched Deliver 9, the new EV joins the brand’s smaller eDeliver 3 model and replaces the EV80.

Two size options are offered, offering cargo volumes of 9.7 cubic meters and 11.0 cubic metres.

The eDeliver 9 will have a maximum range of 219 miles and can be specified with one of three battery options. There’s a choice of 55.1kWh, 72kWh and 88.5kWh. A 203PS/350Nm electric motor powers the new eDeliver 9.

A battery cooling system enables fast DC charging, with a 5%-80% charge taking 45 minutes.

The new model will be rated at 3,500Kg and optional 4,050Kg with payloads of up to 1,700Kg. Fleets can specify a vehicle to suit their specific operation, sacrificing range for payload or vice versa.

Maxus offers a number variants, including crew cab, chassis and minibus models, while a network of specialist converters can also create a bespoke van to cater for all driver and business needs including mobility, refrigeration and specialist cargo.

The eDeliver 9 is available to order now for deliveries from January 2021. Prices start from £55,000 (ex. VAT) with the approval of a government electric vehicle grant.

Mark Barrett, GM of Harris Maxus, said: “Despite its challenges, 2020 has represented a new era for Maxus in which we can offer our customers even more variety in terms of zero emission commercial vehicles.  The eDeliver 9, as the bigger more powerful of our EVs, is the big brother to the eDeliver 3, so our MAXUS family is expanding at pace with a Chassis variant to arrive in Q2 2021.

“We want to make choosing an electric vehicle as easy as possible for customers, whether they are shopping for one vehicle or an entire fleet for their business. The eDeliver 9 has it all in terms of spec, space and is 100% electric.”
