Vauxhall will expand the Grandland Electric line-up later this year with the introduction of a new dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant.

The Grandland AWD will have a power output of 325PS, thanks to the fitment of a second electric motor to its rear axle.

It will use a 73kWh battery, providing a range (WLTP) of up to 311 miles.

Along with the power boost, Grandland AWD models will also feature visual tweaks to give a sportier look. These include revised bumper designs and 20-inch wheels.

Frequency selective damping technology will be fitted as standard, enhancing the car's ride quality and handling.

Pricing and specification details will be outlined closer to the UK start of sales date in early Autumn with customer deliveries set to begin from later in the Autumn.
