ING Car Lease has launched phase three of GreenCARE, its fleet analysis tool, which now features commercial vehicle data to help organisations cut their CO2 emissions and fuel costs, while benchmarking performance against ING’s ‘average’ and ‘best in class’ fleet performers.
Aramark Workplace Solutions (AWS) has struck a deal with ING Car Lease for 40 cars and vans in a contract hire deal which also includes full maintenance, UK and European breakdown cover, accident management, as well as lead-in and short term hire solutions.
Alphabet, the fleet management division of BMW Group, has confirmed that its 637 million euro deal to buy ING Car Lease has been completed and the new merged company will operate under the name Alphabet.

Two of the country’s biggest contract hire companies are believed to be very close to being sold. ING has confirmed it is talks to sell its Car Lease division in a deal reported to be worth £3.5 billion, while the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is keen to offload Lombard Vehicle Management.
