BMW i3 EVision Electric Car Hire delivery

EVision Electric Car Hire, based in Strood Kent, has taken delivery of 50 new BMW i3s increasing its EV fleet to 110.

The new BMW additions will go alongside the Tesla S and X models, and come with unlimited mileage and no additional fees.

EVision’s hire manager Kevin Moody said: “The company is going from strength to strength, with more and more people contacting us wanting to hire an electric vehicle.

"Whether that be the iconic Tesla Model X SUV with the impressive falcon wing doors, to now the small but mighty BMW i3s, we have a car within our fleet to suit almost everyone’s requirements.”

EV motoring in hopes they can impart that knowledge onto customers. It says that electric vehicles are cheaper to run than petrol or diesel engines, with savings over £100, per 1,000 miles. To put this into context if you are driving 10,000 miles a year, this is an annual saving of over £1,000, it said.

Other benefits, it highlights, include free or minimal cost electric vehicle charging.

The BMW i3 is available to hire between four people from £29 per day, with flexible short and long-term hire contracts available.
