To promote its used vehicles directly to professional car dealers, Arval launched the e-commerce platform MotorTrade in 2009. After two years of business, and deployment in more than ten countries, MotorTrade has just made its 100,000th sale.

Arval, a major player in full service vehicle leasing, launched MotorTrade in 2009 to market its used vehicles on the web. First available in Spain, MotorTrade went on to be deployed in Belgium, the Balkans, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and Eastern Europe.

In its pursuit to develop online sales of its used vehicles, Arval will also launch MotorTrade in Brazil, Greece, India,Luxembourg, Morocco, Russia, and Portugal by the end of 2011.

On MotorTrade, Arval offers a broad range of used vehicles, from 24 to 60 months old, all makes, all categories (passenger or light commercial vehicles) and all engine types (petrol, diesel, hybrid).

On August 24 2011, MotorTrade passed the symbolic bar of 100,000 vehicles sold since its launch.

"One hundred thousand vehicles in two years is quite a performance for MotorTrade, and the proof, if any were needed, that this platform meets the needs of professionals," says Paul Gourlet, service delivery director at Arval.
