Van Monster has opened a new depot in Slough’s retail hub to help it penetrate the Greater London market for the first time.

Van Monster Slough will be the benchmark depot for the company, which has recent sales figures demonstrating a 17% year-on-year increase. The Slough depot will be Van Monster’s ninth site.

The new depot is home to a variety of over 200 used vehicles and will offer business owners an assortment of brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, as well as Ford and Peugeot. Van Monster, which is part of Northgate, is confident about the new depot’s potential and aims to sell around 100-150 units a month from the site.

Gary Sullivan, managing director at Van Monster, said: “Despite the current economic client, Van Monster has witnessed a significant expansion, which demonstrates the strength of our business and the confidence our customers have in our brand and products.

“The new Slough depot will act as our flagship site and offers great potential for future growth as we expand into new areas.”

He continued: “The new depot will provide business owners with an extensive variety of vehicles. We currently stock over 1000 vehicles in the group between one to five years old and are extremely confident that our new flagship depot will further strengthen our growth throughout 2012 and thereafter.”

Van Monster now has nine sites across the country, including sites in Bridlington, Cannock, Colchester, Darlington, Leicester, Newmains, Wakefield, Warrington and Slough.
