Nationwide Accident Repair Services appoints operations director

Nationwide Accident Repair Services has announced the appointment of Darren Wills as operations director of its accident management division, Nationwide Network Services.  Wills, formerly claims director at Groupama Insurances, will take up this new role on the senior management team in June 2013.

With over 20 years experience in the insurance and claims industry, Wills brings with him extensive knowledge and understanding of the repair industry and what is required of it from insurance partners.

Steve Thompson, who was previously managing director of Network Services, is now group sales director for Nationwide Accident Repair Services plc. This again, is a new role within the Nationwide Group.

Michael Wilmshurst, chief executive of Nationwide, commented, “Darren’s drive and experience will be critical as we continue to expanding our already successful business.  With Steve now focusing on driving sales in the insurance and fleet markets across all of our divisions (Nationwide Repair Centres, Mobile Repair, Motorglass and Network Services) to support our ongoing growth strategy, Darren’s role will form a vital link between sales and operations. We are delighted to welcome him to the business.”
