As one of the largest suppliers of components and consumables for cars and light commercial vehicles in the UK, it’s essential that Euro Car Parts run its fleet as efficiently as possible.

Servicing more than five million customers per year and making in excess of 30,000 daily deliveries with its large mixed fleet of 1,750 plus vehicles, means that fuel represents one of the company’s largest expenditures.

That’s why the company is working in partnership with fuel card and fuel management company Keyfuels to gain greater control over its fuel usage and to reduce costs.

Sukhpal Singh at Euro Car Parts said: “Our fleet is the backbone of our business and it’s imperative that it runs as cost effectively as possible to ensure the continued growth of the company and to keep costs low for our customers.

“We switched to Keyfuels 18 months ago due to the flexibility of their solutions and tools that help us drill down into our fleet costs, whilst the extensive network ensures that there is always a participating site near by that accepts the Keyfuels card.”

Keyfuels has one of the largest wholesale priced networks in the UK with more than 1,600 multi-branded sites and handles billions of litres of fuel each year for some of the largest fleets in Europe.

Singh continued: “When making the decision to move to Keyfuels one of the most important aspects of the switch was the ability to reduce our fleet costs without compromising on network availability or quality of service, in order to remain leaders within a competitive field.

“Keyfuels fuelcards allow us to do this by saving us thousands of pounds per annum – savings that can then be passed onto our customers ensuring they pay the lowest prices for our products.”
